Leila Hudson is a founding member of the Coalition for Academic Justice at the University of Arizona and of United Campus Workers, Arizona, local 7065. She is also the chair-elect of faculty at the University of Arizona. She is an associate professor of Middle East and North African Studies, working at the intersection of anthropology, history, and women and gender studies of the Middle East.
